Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 5 lbs
Cat has been vomiting once to twice weekly for the past month at least. Content of the vomit is always clear fluid. Always seem to happen just after she wakes up from a nap. Please help.

There are many, many potential causes of intermittent vomiting in cats. It could be a food sensitivity, partial obstruction, kidney or liver disease, or hairball. I would recommend starting by having your vet perform a physical exam. From there they might recommend checking some lab work and/or taking x-rays. If Butterscotch is indoor/outdoor a fecal analysis to check for parasites might also be recommended.
