My dog has this thing under his butt & i’m curious to know what it is . Took my dog to petsmart 2 days ago and they haven’t said anything. Should i take him to the vet ? Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Male | unneutered | 15 years and 8 months old

It's a little difficult to tell in your picture, but it looks like there is swelling underneath BJ's tail. This could be a growth under the skin or something like a perineal hernia. Either way I think that you should have a vet examine BJ to determine what this might be.
