My dog has diarrhea and vomiting again after finishing antibiotics.

Question

Pet has diarrhea. She had diarrhea 3 weeks ago and was put on amoxicillin BiD x 14 days. Once on meds diarrhea stopped. She has been finished with meds for 1 week. Had diarrhea Wednesday a couple of times. Had no symptoms yesterday and has had diarrhea for 6 hours now after eating her food. She is going out every 15 minutes. She also vomited whole pieces of her food. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Long Coat) | Female | 7 lbs

I would take Peanut back into a vet immediately. She sounds quite sick, and I think further testing is needed to be done to determine what is causing her diarrhea and vomiting, such as blood work, a urinalysis, and x-rays. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
