Cloudiness in a two-year-old dog’s eyes is unusual. There can be many causes for cloudiness, from diseases that affect the lens of the eye to diseases that affect the cornea. I recommend to have Marley see his veterinarian to make sure that everything is OK. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions. If you think you can capture it in a photo, please resubmit.

Glaucoma will need to be diagnosed by your veterinarian after a physical exam and diagnostics. The cloudiness may indicate either infection or injury. Either will need to be confirmed and treated by your veterinarian.

The fogging you describe is not normal at such a young age and the squinting and blinking indicates eye pain. I recommend an urgent veterinary assessment, preferably by referral to an ophthalmologist. Urgent pain relief should be prescribed to relieve the discomfort whilst the cause is being identified

Cloudy eyes are a sign of inflammation that can be seen secondary to infection, autoimmune disease, corneal degenerative disease or elevated pressure in the eye (glaucoma). You should have your pet evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
