What causes a cat's stomach to swell? Is it a blocked bladder?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 1 month old | 6.61 lbs

Actually my cat got a knot on his stomach...i was not knowing what happen to him..I took him to a vet and removed xray of it.vet doctor told me that "the knot on his stomach is from the cat food we were giving to the cat.Its meow cat food mackerel adult food.Because of that food my cat got knot on his stomach" thats why doctor told me to we will operate and remove taht knot..but after that operate my cat died.Please ill send you xray pictures..please tell me what was the exact problem to my cat.

I am so sorry for your loss! Without having seen Jack, there is no way I can tell you with 100% certainty what was wrong with him. From JUST looking at these x-rays, it looks like his bladder was blocked (unable to urinate) and there for his bladder got REALLY full and the urine eventually backed up into the kidneys. This likely caused him kidney values to increase and electrolytes to be abnormal. Unfortunately though, I cannot say this for sure and I have no idea if this is what caused him to pass away. I am sorry for your loss and please know you are in my thoughts.
