How to avoid repeat C-section for my small dog's large puppies?

My pet is a 3 year lhasaapso female which is miniature in size.last pregnancy was scissorian due to oversize of pups.what should I do to not repeat the same.one local vet told me that giving moxclav 228.5 mg syrup 5 days prior to delivery and 5 days after delivery may help the dog for safe pregnancy.I dont know what to do.what shoul I do now...,?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Achoos. Unfortunately, if the puppies are too large for her to safely deliver, then a C-section will be necessary again. She can have x-rays prior to delivery to determine if the puppies can fit through pelvis. There not medications that can be given safely during pregnancy to change the size of the puppies. You may consider spaying her in the future if she continues to have difficulties during labor and delivery. I hope this information helps!
