My dog ate a headphone piece. Will he pass it or should I call a vet?

My dog ate something off of a pair of headphones, is he going to throw it up or will it just come out once he has his meal and needs to use the bathroom? He is almost 4 months but weighs about 25 pounds. I’m scared and I don’t know what to do. Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 21 days old | 38 lbs
