Why does my dog's breath smell awful after neuter antibiotics?

My one-year-old golden retriever was neutered on Friday. On Monday, he destroyed his cone and got to his incisions. He was put on an antibiotic yesterday. Since starting the antibiotic his mouth and saliva smells absolutely awful. Should I be concerned about this? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | 1 year old | 65 lbs
