Pet's info: Dog | English Bulldog | Male | neutered | 80 lbs
My English bull dog has a thick blister type bubble on his back. It’s been there for 2 weeks. It’s about the size of a mini M&M. Should I pop it? When I press on it, it does seem to hurt my dog a little. Any advise?

Hello. This looks like a small, benign button tumor. Usually, they do not grow significantly & sometimes they regress spontaneously. Do not pop this yourself because of the risk of infection. Any lump & bump should be thoroughly examined by your veterinarian because while this looks benign, it may not be. If your vet tells you he is concerned & it should be removed, this is an ideal time to do so while it is very small. Otherwise, leave it be until your vet has a chance to look at it. Hello. This is a small button tumor, but your vet should do a simple, painless aspirate to determine if this is concerning or not. If there are any questions as to if this is malignant or not, it would be best to have this removed while it is still quite small. Usually, removal of a tumor at this stage would be curative.
