Hello. It is possible, depending on how much Mijah ate. All that sugar can cause what we call an osmotic diarrhea by pulling excess water out of the ingesta in the intestines. Most of these diarrheas are self-limiting, so if Mijah feels like eating you can feed a bland diet of 25% boiled chicken & 75% white rice or low fat cottage cheese. Feed small amounts more frequently over the next 2-3 days, & the stool should start to firm up. If she shows any signs of abdominal pain, starts vomiting, or you see blood in the diarrhea, please see your vet as soon as possible. Thanks for using Pet Coach.
