Why is my 8-week-old puppy itchy after his first vaccinations?

I gave my 8 week old puppy his fist set of shots yesterday and now today he's all itchy. Did I do something wrong or is he having an allergic reaction?? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 10 days old | 5 lbs

Hello. It is possible that your puppy is having a reaction. If it is not terribly bad, it should subside in 24 hours. However, if it is getting worse, your puppy develops diarrhea or any difficulty breathing, please see your vet. And, you might want to consider having your vet administer the next set of shots. Tell your vet about this reaction & she might want to premedicate Titan to prevent another allergic reaction. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
