Is my cat's hair loss and scabs from its Seresto collar? Remove?

Hi my cat has on a Seresto fle collar and is lose hair around his neck and has a small scab is this from the flea collar or from the fleas themselves and should I remove the collar? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 9 months and 18 days old | 8 lbs

Yes it would be ideal to remove the collar and use another type of flea treatment, waiting at least a couple of weeks (you can use comfortis tablets). It is very likely that both the scab and the hair loss is due to the collar which is causing skin reaction/allergy.
