Why is my cat groaning and struggling to sit after a cat fight?

My cat is having trouble sitting down, and he is groaning. He hasn't visited the vet yet. What do you think it could be? Spotty lives in our garden and the day before we noticed, we heard cats fighting. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 2 lbs
