We went away for a weekend and came back to our dog having a red rash like spot on her lower belly with a firm lump underneath. What could this be? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | spayed | 68 lbs

Without seeing it in person, it is impossible for me to say. This could be a bug or spider bite. It could also be a local allergic reaction or an area the Hazel has been chewing causing the swelling. I would give her some beandryl to see if this helps. If it doesn't, I would have your vet take a look to ensure there isn't an infection.
