My cat arches her back, hops, and looks scared. Is she playing?

Hi my cat has been doing something weird for a while now. She starts to look scared and arches her back and does hop-like movements. This episode lasts for about 5 minutes and after she seems ok. Her eyes get really wide during the jump but after she’s back to normal. It isn’t affecting her appetite or anything, I’m just curious why she keeps doing this. Thank you!
