My dog ate mixed nuts. Is it dangerous for my dog to eat nuts?

My dog of 6 mos old Trixxie . Breed Boston Terrier ate a cup of mixed nuts. Should I worry .

Hello. As long as there were not a majority of macadamia nuts in the mix, there are no significant worries. Trixxie may vomit up the whole thing, or she may have some diarrhea, but this will all be self limiting & usually does nor require medical care. The only possibility of problems could come from the relatively high fat content of the nuts which may cause a bout of pancreatitis. So if Trixxie vomits or has diarrhea multiple times, accompanied by loss of appetite, excessive water intake & any indication of fever or abdominal pain, have her seen as quickly as you can.
