Hi, my puppy has been diagnosed with parvo on Monday, but we could not afford the funds to hospitalize him. He was injected with saline solution to rehydrate him and with antibiotic. The vet sent us home with medicine that we’ve been giving him. He usually vomits up the medicine, but today the vomiting stopped. He’s been holding down all his fluids, he’s drinking water on his own, and he’s starting to sleep better. His energy has started picking up a lot.Does it sound like he’s getting better?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Baxter. I am sorry to hear about his diagnosis. The changes you have seen today though are very positive. Continue to give him all of his medications as directed and hopefully he will continue to improve. Parvo is an unpredictable disease, but it sounds like things are starting to turn around for him. Good luck!
