Deep cuts usually require stitches. I recommend to take Tudfy into see his veterinarian today. He will likely get antibiotics as well. Make sure Tuffy does not lick the area as this may make them worse. Make him wear an elizabethan collar at all times. If you can’t get into the veterinarian today, you can wash the area gently and pay dry. You can apply sterile petroleum jelly to the wounds to keep the tissue moist.
