My unspayed cat is in heat. How long does it last and how often?

I have a cat and she ain't spaded. She is very friendly and laying on her back even around my dogs. She she will even get on my back and roll around. How long do they go into heat and how often? ? Seams like this is her 2nd time in about 35 days. Thanks. Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Female | unspayed | 11 months and 8 days old | 3 lbs

They usually go into heat every few weeks if they aren't mated so this is definitely possible. If you don't want her to have another heat cycle, you could talk to your vet about inducing ovulation to help her go out of heat but this isn't always recommend depending on the patient, or you could have her spayed if you don't plan to breed her.
