My dog has a painful lump near tail & tail down. Is it constipation?

My dog has a lump on her back upper right side by her tail she yelped if I barely touch it and has been walking around with her tail down for the last 2 days. Could this be constipation? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 7 lbs

I would say with a lump that would less likely be constipation. I recommend bringing Minnie to your veterinarian to get evaluated. If there is a growth there they can perform an aspirate to see exactly what the growth is. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
