My cat ate a fabric hair tie and is acting normal. What should I do?

My cat (9 months, large) ate part of a hair tie. (no rubber band, no metal piece, just the regular black fabric hair tie) He ate soft food (shredded chicken and carrots) fine and is acting normal. I don’t have a car. What do I do? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered
