My cat ate a fabric hair tie and is acting normal. What should I do?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

My cat (9 months, large) ate part of a hair tie. (no rubber band, no metal piece, just the regular black fabric hair tie) He ate soft food (shredded chicken and carrots) fine and is acting normal. I don’t have a car. What do I do?

Thank you for contacting Pet Coach with your question about Franklin. I'd just keep an eye on him for now. Since it is fabric, it may pass without problems. Monitor him for signs such as vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, or lethargy. If you see any of those signs, then he will need to see a vet. I hope this helps!
