Can I use store bought iodine to add to my Gouldian finch male's diet, and if so, how much per cup of food? Thank you! Pet's info: Bird | Finch | Male

Thanks for reaching out about Solomon. Why do you think you finch as an iodine deficiency? Over-supplementation can lead to problems also. Iodine deficiencies usually arise for poor diet, so correcting the diet can reverse the deficiencies. Low iodine can lead to goiter and thyroid enlargement. A veterinary visit is probably recommended, at least for a physical exam. Good luck.
