Hello, I rescued an unaltered indoor ferrel cat. Shortly after I had her altered now she is peeing straight blood, the same day and has for a month now, the vet has said this is normal and I know it is not as in 50 yrs of tnr I have never had a cat start peeing blood what could be the cause of this. I am taking her to a different vet next week

I agree urinating blood for a month isn't normal. Torty could have feline idiopathic cystitis or bladder stones causing this blood in her urine. I would take her into another vet as soon as possible. Best of luck.
