4 year old toy poodle, had a grooming a few weeks ago, now has huge bald spot along her whole back and has not eaten for 2 days :/. Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Female | unspayed

It is very concerning that Miranda has not eaten in two days. Please have her seen by a vet as soon as possible to help determine the cause and to start treatment. Hair loss can be caused by trauma, bacterial, parasitic or fungal infection, dietary or environmental allergies or sensitivities, immune system disorders, or a combination of the above. The vet will likely want to look at a sample from the area (taken by a procedure known as a skin scraping) and examined under the microscope to determine what kind(s) of infection may be present and to figure out what medication is appropriate for treatment.
