Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 lbs

my puppy bell got bitten by another dog and now has pus filled bumps, and the dog cut into bell's inner leg. She hardly eats but still moves around. She moves slowly and seems weak. And tired. (What do I do. I have been tending to her wounds but it doesnt seen like she is feeling any better.) What can I do to help her recovery go by smoothly.

Poor Bell! The weakness is very concerning that she is very sick. Infected wound can progress to blood poisoning or septicemia (which can be fatal if. It treated). I recommend to have Bella seen asap by her veterinarian. Hopefully it’s not that serious (skin infection and soreness could also make her tired) but she will likely get antibiotics. When they don’t get better with home care, it’s time to take them in to be seen. Always better to be safe. Best of luck and I hope this is helpful. Please feel free to post any additional questions.
