Why is my cockatiel's beak discolored and feathers dull? Is she sick?

Pet's info: Bird | Cockatiel | Male | 5 months and 22 days old

My cockatiel has strange textures and a discoloration her beak. I researched and it said its bad for her to have a discoloration but no reason. Is she sick, unhealthy or is she moulting? And her feathers are dull but she didnt took a shower in a while bcs its cold but it also said if her feathers are dull its a sign of illness? Please answer quickly as im worried for her health. I have have got her in october-september. Thanks

Thanks for reaching out about Keke and including a photo. Unfortunately the photo does not indicate an abnormality as is slightly out of focus and dark. Discolored beaks and dull plumage can be an indication of illness, whether an infection or due to sub-standard nutrition. If you haven't seen a veterinary after acquisition, that would be a good idea. Also discuss with the vet the proper nutrition for birds, as seed is not an all inclusive nutritional palette.
