Kitten trapped in door, seems fine. Why does she flinch when touched?

my kitten got trapped when the interior door was closing. she cried in pain but she seems fine. shes eating and running around and can be carried. however, sometimes when you stroke her she moves away.

She might still be a little painful from getting shut in the door, but it's a good sign she's running around and eating. She may move away when you stroke her because there is some pain in that area. Keep an eye on her for now, and do NOT give her any human pain medications. Many human ones are toxic to cats and are fatal are given. If she still appears painful in another 24 hours, then I would have her seen by a vet. Best of luck.
