Why is my 8-week-old puppy drooling and not swallowing saliva?

Hi I have recently got a new puppy 8 weeks old and Borris is struggling to adjust which I understand is normal. However he seems to salivate and not swallowing his saliva. I can’t find much on the web about it so wanted to make sure that it isn’t something that is serious! It has only started since the puppy came home 3 days ago. It is getting a tiny bit better over time however still concerning me.

Congrats on your new puppy, but I'm sorry Borris is having some issues. This excessive drooling could be due to the stress of the new puppy, and it's good that it's starting to get better. It could also be due to something like dental disease or nausea. If this drooling continues over the next 24 hours, then have him checked out by a vet. Best of luck.
