Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 7 months and 4 days old
Hi I rescued my cat around 3 weeks ago from an animal shelter. She's almost 7 months old. When I rescued her, they informed me that she had ring worms but she was being treated. I have her final doses set to be given Feb 9- Feb 11 of panacur susp. Her anus has dry blood and just yesterday she has been leaking feces everywhere. I'm not sure what to do as I was uninformed of all this. We had tried different food (non grain) assuming it was a food allergy, but no signs of getting better. Thank you

The diarrhea could be caused by a number of things, including parasites, diet changes (such as the new diet you tried her on), toxin ingestion, infectious viral diseases, blockage in the intestines caused by ingestion of a foreign body, food sensitivity/allergy, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin, and Panacur is generally used to treat intestinal worms, so I think there may be some confusion or miscommunication going on as to what is going on with Belle. I recommend you contact the shelter and clarify Belle's diagnosis with them, obtain her medical records, and have her seen by a vet for further diagnostics and treatment. Take in a fecal sample from Belle when you go to the vet so they can test it for parasites if needed. Good luck, and I hope she feels better soon!
