My kitten's eye is still squinty and pupil misshapen after treatment?

Hi! This is my new kitten Ferris Bueller, he’s 6 months old and after escaping for one night about 3 weeks ago he returned with a foggy/squinty eye! The vet did a stain and gave us Terramycin ointment to use for 14 days but it still hasn’t gone away! (Although the cloudiness is gone) The pupil is also not the same shape as the normal eye. Ive continued to use the ointment with no improvement. The vet said it was conjunctivitis but I’m thinking it’s uveitis..? What can I do?

I am also concerned about his eye, but it is difficult to say what is going on without doing my own exam in person. He could have developed a condition where the iris forms almost a scar tissue connecting it to the cornea which will sometimes misshapen the iris. Ferris should not be bothered by it though. Most cats do not squint or develop eye discharge at this point. . I would have your vet take a look at it again or you could get a referral to a veterinary ophthalmologist. Sometimes you need to see an ophthalmologist in order for them to do additional tests to diagnosis what is going on. I hope this helps!
