My dog is squinting both eyes and won't open them. What's wrong?

Hi, my dog is squinting both eyes and not wanting to open them. He seems to be tired yet still wants to get up and play. There doesn’t seem to be anything in his eye as far as we can tell. Any advice/thoughts? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

Hi ! I suspect that Cuddles has conjunctivitis. It normally is a bilateral ocular condition (affecting both eyes) and it does cause a lot of discomfort. He might need to have some antibiotics eye drops or other ophthalmic medications and also some pain relief. I would therefore recommend to have him checked over. Hope Cuddles gets better soon !
