My kitten's eyes are shut with white film and yellow discharge. What to do?

My kitten is 18 days old and both eyes are shut in one eye it is like a white coating and in the next eye is is not open and a yellow line is there in the place of eye what should I do?

This is likely to be a due to a viral and bacterial infection of the eye, which would require immediate check up as antibiotics are immediately needed. These type of ocular infections can result in corneal damage and possibly perforations if not treated quite rapidly.

    This kitten is suffering from an eye infection, it's very common in stray kittens and many of them lose their eyes to this disease if left untreated. fortunately the treatment is quite simple, take him to the vet ASAP and your vet will prescribe antibiotic eye ointment for him, this will solve the problem within a couple weeks.
