Hello, I would let Jasper jog as much as he enjoys with you, while watching him for signs of exhaustion or overheating. If he becomes tired, allow him to rest and drink and do not push him to continue jogging. Try taking him for a few test jogs to see how long Jasper generally wants to run at a time. I think three miles may be a bit long of a distance for a young puppy, but he will likely be able to handle that just fine once he is an adult. I hope this is helpful.
