Why does google say newborn puppies can survive on human baby formula when they can? Back in the 60s-70s my grandmother raised an orphaned newborn. Puppy on s.m.a baby formula if it’s bad for them then how did this puppy survive she lived to be around 16-17 years old

I’m sure there are puppies that can survive when fed human formula but it does not provide optimal nutrition for them. There may not have been commercial puppy milk replacer when your grandmother raised her orphan puppy, but now that puppy milk replacer is readily available it is a much better choice.
