Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 6 lbs
My dog is almost a year old, so this is her first time experiencing winter. She has started reverse sneezing, which I've researched seems to be normal in tiny dogs. However, when we go outside, she's been wheezing while running around. She also has less energy inside the house. She crawls into corners or into tight spaces and stays silent and seems tired. She has also started to eat only once a day (but it's not a lot of food). She barely drinks (only after walks) and her tail is down.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Alice. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian. It is worrisome that she is not eating well. She could be infected with an upper respiratory tract infection. Wheezing and an increase in reverse sneezing are both symptoms. If this is not the case, she may be painful somewhere. Her veterinarian will be able to tell based on her exam findings. In the meantime, do not give any over-the-counter pain medications as these can be toxic to dogs. I hope this information helps!
