Pet's info: Dog | Papillon | Male | neutered | 9 lbs
I have two 5 year old papillons and I know that they are an energetic breed, but for as long as I've had them, they have been pretty mellow and calm. They also don't like to play with other dogs or play games. They seem to prefer to sleep most of the day and they aren't necessarily fond of walks, although I still take them of course. Should I be concerned at their temperaments? Should I try giving them a different dog food?

I don't think you need to be concerned. As a pair, they are probably just most content to keep each other company, hence the lack of interest in other dogs. Ask your vet if they are both at a healthy weight. If they are overweight, that may contribute to them not being very playful. Other than that, I would not worry about changing their food. (if they are at a healthy weight , don't worry about it, if they are overweight, talk to your vet about a food for weight loss). I think it sounds like you have some lovely couch companions! I hope that helps you, thank you for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
