My cat ate a thread, coughed, and threw up. Should I be concerned?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 17 days old | 1lb

Just my lill kitty snow ate a small thread... Then she started caughing then something like curd came out from her mouth then she became normal and started playing.... Is their anything to worry about... Plz helo me out Petco Pet Education Center.

A small thread may pass uneventfully in the next 24-36 hours. You will need to keep an eye on the litterbox for it. Monitor for lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite abdominal pain or straining to defecate. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian. If you see a string protruding from her rectum, do not pull it out. Doing so may cause grievous injury.
