My adult cat has a watery nose discharge. Is it a cold? What to do?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 9 months old | 6.5 lbs

I felt good that u r happy to help me.... I have a question for my adult cat nancy ... I noticed a discharge from Nancy's nose... Its like watery nose... She was licking again and again her own nose.... I cleaned her nose using a tissue paper ... What to do is she suffering from cold coz these are winter's? Should i keep her warm so that runny nose will stop... Thankh uh

Hello. This does sound like an upper respiratory infection. Most of these are viruses & run their course over several weeks. If Nancy is eating well, there is probably not much you need to do except keep her warm & feed her well. If the discharge becomes thick or bloody, or she quits eating, &/or develops severe conjunctivitis, please see your vet. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
