My 3-month-old puppy won't eat and is getting very thin. What to do?

My puppy is about 3 months old and is male. He is an Indian street dog. I feed him everyday and he readily eats everything. But, since a few days he is hardly eating anything and looks very lean. I am very worried. What should I do?

Poor Kuttush! I worry he may have something else going on like a viral infection, upset tummy from eating something he shouldn't, or even intestinal parasites. You can try to entice him to eat by offering some plain boiled boneless, skinless chicken and white rice to see if this helps. Since he is so young and small, if he isn't improving soon I would have your vet take a look at him. Your vet will be able to figure out the cause and get him started on the right meds before he becomes too dehydrated. I hope this helps!
