My dog has dry skin and hair loss. How often to wash and moisturize?

My dog, (10 yrs old, lab-pit mix) has extremely dry skin and now her hair is falling out. How often should we be washing her? What can we do to help moisturize her skin? We live in Florida by the way. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 40 lbs

Hi. I would recommend bathing once every week to every other week. And i would recommend using a good oatmeal based shampoo and conditioner. Your veterinarian most likely has a great shampoo option . In addition, vit E and omega Fatty acids may help as well. These can be found at your local per store. I would not use human products.
