This summer I am planning on getting one of my rabbits spayed. She is a rescue so I don't know a whole lot about her. I know I will need to get bloodwork done on her. Are there any special types of bloodwork I need to ask for other than just the normal CBC? I have had her for almost 2 years but I don't know her actual age she has always been the same size since I got her so I assume she was an adult when I got her.

Thanks for reaching out. Serum biochemistries would be a good idea also, to test liver and kidney functions, prior to surgery. Another good idea might be radiographs, to look for uterine cancer. Good luck.
