Why is my dog's tongue acting weird, like something's stuck or sick?

Good day. I have a jack chi. For a few weeks now she does this weird thing with her tongue as if something is stuck on it... But there's nothing. Or as if she is going to get sick. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Without seeing Crystal it is hard to say what is going on. She could be nauseous but typically dogs have a decreased appetite with that. I would also be concerned about a bad/infected tooth. I recommend taking her to a vet for a good oral exam.
