I gave my 3 month old chihuahua a few drops of acetaminophen 120mg will this hurt him? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 15 days old | 0.8 lbs

Hi, as you probably suspect acetaminophen is toxic in dogs. It can be used in certain cases under your vet's guidance, at a dose of 10mg/kg. Is this formulation of 120 mg/ml or 120mg/5 ml ? How many drops did you give ? Most vets have an antidote fro acetaminophen toxicity and should be able to help Dumbo. First step would be to understand the dosage he has ingested. Hope this helps,
