Hi! I have some chicken in my fridge that I forgot about, and was wondering if it's safe to cook for my dog? It is a week past the sell by date. Thanks! Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | unneutered | 10 years and 11 months old | 74 lbs

Hello. If it is only a week past the sell date, & you cannot detect any objectionable odors ( or weird fuzz ), then cooking thoroughly should be fine. Any questions, then just throw it out. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
