My dog ate raw meat, has diarrhea, and won't eat. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | spayed | 2 years old | 63 lbs

My 2 yr old golden retriever dog ate frozen raw meat last Thursday. On Saturday, she started having diarrhea, and hasn't been eating much. She hasn't eaten much since and I put her on the bland diet for 4 days now and still has diareah? Could she have food poisoning? What should be my next step?

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I’m sorry Nala isn’t feeling well. I would recommend a veterinarian visits as the next step. Nala may have pancreatitis or gastritis that needs antibiotics or other medications. She may need fluid therapy if she has become dehydrated. The vet will get a history and perform a physical exam then may recommend doing bloodwork or checking a stool sample depending on their findings. I hope she’s better soon.
