Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 16 days old | 7 lbs
My 8 month old chihuahua has been vomiting at night only for last 3 nights. First time it happened it was a clear/foamy liquid, now it is/smells like his food. He is fine during the day but doesn't want to eat much food but will eat at night when he wants. I recently started adding wet food to his dry food to make him eat and it worked. What could be the cause of his vomiting?

There could be a few different things causing his vomiting. It can be from a virus, a foreign body, an intestinal upset or even pancreatitis. I would recommend bringing him to the veterinarian for some testing to make sure it is just an intestinal upset. They can discuss with you antacids and a prescription bland diet.
