Hi I’m concerned because we change my dog Siena ( cavalier King Charles) food to “foodjustfordogs” for almost 2 months and i’ve Noticed she is barely drinking any water the whole day. Her bowl is sometimes not even touch somedays and I’m concerned if this is normal she Is not looking sick but I’m concerned however Any recommendations? Regards Narda Laverde

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Pet Coach about Siena. In looking at the dog food you switched Siena to it has a high "hydration" content. This allows her to receive a large portion of the water that she needs directly thru the diet that you are feeding to her. This is most likely the cause of her decrease in water consumption. Not to worry about this. This is normal, especially if she is otherwise acting well. I also wanted to mention that there was a recall on this brand of food from last year. I do not know which specifica flavor of this food you are receiving, but just wanted to mention this so you check their website often and be in the know if any recalls happen with the flavor you are providing for Siena.
