My young dog's joints are cracking. Is it a sign of hip problems?

I keep hearing my dogs bones crack this week when getting up or changing positions etc. and i don’t think I’ve ever heard that before. is this a cause for concern? He’s only 2. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 57 lbs
