When do puppies start losing baby teeth and get their adult teeth?

My Gsd puppy is 3 and half month old...when will her teeth fall...and new permanent teeth will come....I am attaching latest photo of her ....that will be helpful for u...please let me know

Hello, congratulations on your new puppy. Most puppies will begin to exchange their teeth around 3 months and may last until they are 8 months of age. In some instances with large breed puppies, their puppy teeth fail to fall and they need to be removed by your veterinarian, however this occurs more often in small/toy breed dogs.     Puppies start losing their baby teeth around 3-4 months of age, and by the time they are 7-8 months old, they should have all of their permanent teeth. I would not move Marshall up until he is at least 7 months old.

Hi there and thanks for posting! It is not abnormal for puppy teeth to come out. Adult teeth will begin to come in and replace the puppy teeth around 4-6 months of age. Your dog should have a full set of adult teeth around a year of age.

At 3 months she should weigh anywhere from 22 – 30 lbs (10 – 14 kg). The teeth start to fall out between 3 and 4 months of age and continues until 6 months of age. At 6 months old all the adult teeth should be in.

How long is a puppy tooth loose before it falls out?
The roots of the baby teeth begin to resorb between 2and 3 months of age. This results in loosening teeth that start to fall out shortly after. Once a tooth is loose, it can take several days to fall out or be knocked out (during play or eating). By 6-8 months of age, all the baby teeth should definitely be out, replaced by adult teeth.

Thank you for using Pet Coach! In general dogs should lose their canines between 5-6 months of age. However, some small breed dogs have canines that are very stubborn and don’t fall out. Occasionally we have to end up pulling these baby teeth. From the photo I suspect it is a baby tooth. If you have any concerns I would encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian. Hi, my puppy is getting her adult teeth. I’ve been checking her for a while and I noticed that the adult canine teeth are erupting right beside her puppy canines on both sides of the upper part of her mouth. Is this normal?
Yes, this is normal. Sometimes small breed puppies may not lose the puppy teeth correctly, if the baby teeth are still there at 8 months of age, have her examined by the veterinarian. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

I have a 5 Month old miniature schnauzer and she has lost two of her front teeth is that normal?
Puppies lose their puppy teeth, and their adult teeth grow back in their place. This starts happening around four months of age, so yes this can be normal. You can have Luna checked by your vet to be sure since I can't say for certain without seeing her in person. Good luck, I hope this helps!

My puppy is 4.5 months and she has an adult Lower canine growing along side her baby canine. The baby canine is very loose but has not fell out yet. Will this tooth fall out on its own? How much time should I give the tooth to fall out?
Yes, the tooth should fall out on it's own by the time she is about 6 months old. DO not pull it out or you may break the root. Just leave it be and check on it periodically. If it does not come out on it's own by 7 months of age then your vet should check her out.

This is completely normal and right on schedule. These are the first teeth to fall out. Adult teeth will appear in those spots soon. The teething process takes about 6-10 weeks total. Most of the time, the teeth just seem to disappear....puppies swallow them or they end up in the grass outside, etc. Usually the last teeth to fall out are the canine or “fang” teeth.
