My kitten has bloody diarrhea & licks his anal area. What to do?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | 5 months and 19 days old | 2.75 lbs

i have a male Persian kitten 5 months old, he is having diarrhea with bloody mucus in stool. he had been given deworming medicine 2 weeks back , he keep licking his anal area. apart for that he is very active.

It sounds as Jasper is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
